Timothy Hellwig is an Associate Professor of Political Science and the Director of the Institute for European Studies at Indiana University, Bloomington. His work has been published in several peer-reviewed journals, including the American Journal of Political Science, the British Journal of Political Science, Comparative Political Studies, and the Journal of Politics. He has previously served as a researcher at the International Foundation for Election Systems, with the faculty at the University of Houston, and as a visiting researcher at the University of Essex and at Gothenburg University.

About the Author
John Cameron Mitchell is an actor and director who performed in the original Broadway production of Six Degrees of Separation, and recently appeared in HBO's Girls as Hannah's ebook editor. He wrote, directed, and starred in the film adaptation of Hedwig, which won prizes at the Berlin, Deauville, San Francisco, and Sundance film festival.

Stephen Trask was one of the original members of the Squeeze Box House Band, performing with Debbie Harry, Hole, and Green Day. For five years, he performed with his band Cheater, which originated the role of the Angry Inch. He has scored numerous films, including Dreamgirls, The Station Agent, and Lovelace: The Inside Story of Deep Throat.

As good as it could be

I don't know why there are so many reviews for a book, but this is the Vocal/Piano sheet music. I haven't played most of it yet, but what I've found so far is that the tune sounds slightly off in some places. That is to be expected because it is a rock musical and it's hard to capture that with a piano. The music written still sounds great! Just don't expect to be able to replicate the songs by using this.

The movie is a philosophical tour de force backed by an amazing soundtrack. The music is a bit complicated for beginners. But if you have a musical background and want to be able to play along with the soundtrack and pretend you are a member of the Angry Inch (and I do) then this book is for you.

About the Author
Fritz Zimmerman is an unaffiliated scholar with a B. A. in history from Purdue University. "The Encyclopedia of Giants in North America" is the result of over 15 years of research that included pouring through over 10,000 historical documents and newspaper archives at one of the country's largest genealogical libraries. 13 years of archaeological fieldwork of exploring over 700 sites and photographing over 200 mound and earthworks in the Ohio Valley resulted in many of the extant giant's tombs to be be photographed for the first time.

This is a 515 page book loaded with information on Giants in the United States. I appreciated how the author labeled the states under the headings in the table of contents. This makes it much easier to locate information on certain areas. I have also purchased his other two books and find them all filled with a wealth of information.

No text only pictures. No story nothing but sketches no information on most of the pictures. Confusing because no information or erase arch description. How do you have a bookmark with no text explaining the photos

Very well done. Does not try to make speculations and theories from conjecture (like Ancient Aliens on History Channel). Primarily quotes newspaper articles and scientific journals or books. Even groups news from each state in USA on this subject. Allows reader to form their own opinion based on information available over time. Creative approach.

Great study aid for Geometry students - need the part 2, too

This is a real help for kids taking Geometry - if they use it. The format is VERY dense, and it takes some study itself to gain facility in using it well. I do find that one really need both part 1 and part 2 of this guide if s/he wants complete coverage of a high school geometry course, so plan on investing in both. Also, the organization is somewhat odd or random it seems between part 1 and 2. These are the only reasons I did not give this study aid a 5 star rating, even though it clearly does say "part 1" -- organizationally, this is one of the weaker Quickstudy Guides. You'll need both parts even for the start of Geometry.

Once you figure out where information is on the PACKED pages of the guide, it really is helpful, so I would definitely recommend it. It is ESPECIALLY good if you have a textbook like the one used at my son's school, where all of the key concepts are in bold lettering, but the key words are left out with big question marks in blanks for the kids to work out/learn in class through "inductive reasoning" and/or lecture. It might be the dumbest textbook idea yet, since the information just is NOT THERE to be read by kids who miss a day of school, or if a teacher skips lessons, etc. This guide is GREAT to fill in the book full of question marks!

So, buy Part 1 AND Part 2, and you will have a complete picture of Geometry and a truly GOOD study aid.

this Pamphlet on Geometry Part 1 (Quickstudy: Academic) Pamphlet – February 19, 2001 is a plasticized fold out compilation of the most important of the Geometry basic shapes, formula and basic information you need to perform a good review of the subject matter. I am glad I purchased this and other similar pamphlets of the study of Math, Physics and Calculus. Differential Equations is a very thorough layout of the formulas used in the study.
